Welcome To Carlton Heights

Carlton Heights Posted by Hello

Some of you may already be aware I have been working on a brand new soap opera I am sure is destined to take over the world. "Carlton Heights" is the comedic and dramatic saga of a group of residents in the seaside community of Carlton Heights. Dylan and Scott Irving are a happily married couple who move into town when Scott is transferred by his bank. The Irving's neighbors include Larry and Zimmy Bustamante who have recently adopted twin babies and Larry in his quest to create the happy home doesn't realize his husband is having an affair with neighborhood hottie Aidan Palmer. Zimmy isn't aware Aidan is also carrying on with Ronald Mitchell, much to the chagrin of Ronald's unhappy husband Marty. To add even more drama to the mix, matriarch Ruth Carlton watches her town through her binoculars in her mansion on the hill secretly planning to rid Carlton Heights of the endless gay residents with and sometimes in spite of the help of her nursemaid/singer Haley Osbourne.

Three episodes of "Carlton Heights" have been written so far and the pilot is making its way around the world in hopes of a future buy. Despite the lack of an agent or any real motivation I am inclined to write all 14 episodes I have planned for the first season.

To keep everyone guessing and hoping for more, I am going to begin a yahoo group sometime in the near future, where you will be able to read the scripts, analyze, leave me with your thoughts and wishes for the characters etc. So keep on the lookout for any email which will inform you of the new home for "Carlton Heights" on the web.

There may even be an impromptu reading at my ultimate birthday bash later this month. If so, you can bet there will be pictures galore...

For all of you who have read the scripts, I have some good news - no they haven't sold yet, but episode 4 - "Bad To The Bone" is now complete. It's my goal to continue this saga and finish at least the first half of season 1, by Christmas... it may seem like a ways away and a fairly easy task but the half hour it takes to read the thing, is nothing compared to the three weeks it takes me to write it!

Happy reading...
