Life of the Bradley

I figured it was about time I posted a few of the things going on in my little life. So a couple of weeks ago my friend Robby took us all out sailing Long Beach Harbor which was a complete blast. It was a little cold, but it was hella fun. The Leivas didn't care so much for it but we did at least learn that. Now he also knows it's totally safe so he won't worry when I leave his ass at home.

I've been working up some new music as well, there's two songs I'm kind of digging at the moment - one called "Echo" and one that is a reworking of an old lyric called "Ecstasy". My friend Brandon from Turbo Sunshine who remixed "Rock Hard" is actually helping me with "Echo" and I think I'm going to try and get some more help with the other songs. I'm really pretty sick of working with loops and myself and really want to start working with other musicians, but for the time being with a few new songs and the left overs from the Everybody Hates You sessions, I may have enough really good songs for a new album by the summer. The songs that were left off of "Everybody Hates You" were really only left off because they didn't flow with the songs I wanted on the album, so now they all kind of work out together quite nicely. There's also a reworking of a song called "Aren't You Proud" which I did in 2006 - it's an ode to my friend Michelle Wenzel who died and it's one of my favorite songs ever so I reworked some lines and re-recorded it and it's a song I'm really proud of.

also, my pal K and I decided it was high time to get our shizz together and we joined the Groundlings School for Improv. It's a 6 week course and at the end we all put on a show - classes start next Tuesday so that should be interesting. I'll try to write more but this blogging thing is hard - in the meantime if you are reading this Mrs. Hunter - I miss you and I will call you!!!

Oooh - excited about your Groundlings adventure! (Not the sailing - I like to LOOK at the ocean, not be on it.)
